Humility…it’s a privilege to come alongside cross cultural workers and love on them for a season. These dear ones have given up a life of comfort to seek after God’s love being lavished out on a people that they often don’t know and in some cases in the most remote places of the world. They’ve clothed themselves in humility and compassion as Paul in Colossians 3:12 challenges:
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
Counseling tools, although helpful, relevant and even healing for the cross cultural worker, still fall incredible short of the healing our LORD offers. His Love redeems the deepest places of our hearts.
Only our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, can bring salvation as we all fall incredible short. Humility. Lavished redeeming LOVE.
